Join Jeni Waeltz, DVM, CCFP, and Christina Moore, DVM, MBA, for the first Vibrant Vets Retreat: a day focused on wellbeing and mindfulness for the veterinary community. 

Dr. Waeltz and Dr. Moore created the Vibrant Vets Retreat to bring inspiration, coaching, and education to veterinary professionals, so you can find your joy, live your most vibrant life, and create a sustainable veterinary career.

This event is brought to you by Vibrant Vets and Brief Media, publisher of Clinician’s Brief. This event will offer attendees 4 hours of RACE approved non-medical CE.

Tickets are $299 each and include breakfast, lunch, and snacks from local Austin favorites. Space is limited, so don't hesitate to register.

8:30 AM: Breakfast

9:00 AM: Begin the Day With Gratitude

  • 15-minute exercise focused on our 'why' (what we are grateful for)

9:15 AM: Align Our Mindset With Our Goals

  • 45-minute discussion on mindset and emotional resilience, learning to control our own reaction to the things that happen in our lives
  • RACE approved for 1 hour of non-medical CE

10:00 AM: Guided Meditation

10:30 AM: Break (15 minutes)

10:45 AM: The Mind-Body Connection

  • 45-minute discussion on how nutrition, physical activity, and sleep impact our brains, our mental state, and our interactions with others 
  • RACE approved for 1 hour of non-medical CE

11:30 AM: Physical Activity (1 hour)

12:30 PM: Lunch (1 hour)

1:30 PM: It Takes a Village

  • 60-minute discussion on emotional intelligence and how we manage our own emotions, read and react to others, and impact the environment and those around us 
  • RACE approved for 1 hour of non-medical CE

2:30 PM: Small Group Breakout (45 minutes)

3:15 PM: Break (15 minutes)

3:30 PM: Self Love

  • 30-minute discussion on self-care and how we must put on our own oxygen masks first—we can’t pour from an empty cup
  • RACE approved for 1/2 hour of non-medical CE

4:00 pm – 4:30 pm: Energy

  • 30-minute review of the energies around you, with tips for harnessing the energy needed to lead you to success
  • RACE approved for 1/2 hour of non-medical CE

4:30 pm – 5:15 pm: Letters to Self

  • 45 minutes to write your own letters to yourself: 
    • What you are ready to release
    • Write a commitment/promise for the remaining year ahead

5:15 PM: Ending the Day With Gratitude

  • 15-minute wrap up, giving thanks with an open heart
